Does quality matter?

The quality of your photographs cannot be underestimated, if you have clear photos of yourself, you are showing the client a true view of yourself but if your photographs are badly lit or do not have focus, clients may well click away in favour of a guy they can see in detail.

Who owns the photos

You do 100%. From the moment the camera starts clicking, they are your property and will not be used on any website or published in any way. We may sometimes offer you the chance to sell your photos to us, but without signed permission, this will NOT happen.

What does the photo session consist of?

We will welcome you to our studio with a drink while we sit and discuss your vision for the photos you want, at this time we will also give you some ideas based on your looks, after all we want you to look your best.

We then head to makeup which in many cases does not take too much work with men, it is a matter of making you up for the studio lighting we use, and makeup for males is never noticed in the finished photos.

We then go to studio with a rough story board of your shoot and spend one hour in front of the camera. 100s of photos are taken, this is important as in any shoot, only about 1 in 30 photos are usable.

Once the shoot is over and you leave us, your photos are taken to the editing suite where we select the photos that are 100% right in lighting and pose, these photos are then sent to you on CD and in a password protected directory online (for 30 days) and you are asked if you want us to store your photos as a backup for you for 6 months (£50 extra), or if you prefer, the copies we have are wiped from our system after the one month. Your stock of photos are delivered to you within one week of your shoot.

Nerves

Most of our models are first time models and we understand you may be nervous when you arrive, we know and expect this and will do all we can to put you at ease. If it helps you can bring a friend along as support, but please remember there is no rush while here and our aim is to give you truly amazing results.

All our sessions start with a informal chat by phone in order to talk you through the session and what to expect. Once we have spoke with you, we know you will feel better about working with us.

Cost?

Our costs start at £199 for 2 hours, but once we have an idea of your requirements, we can give you a better idea! Do not confuse us with photographers that take photos as a hobby, our fully furnished studio is designed to make you look good! Please look around the web and you will find our prices are good, because some will offer £49 for a hour, but then charge you £10 for each image from a contact sheet you order. At Sleepyboy you get 50 images included in the above cost.
